We had quite an adventure this weekend, to wrap up an extremely hectic week.
Both of our little girls were sick sick sick...
So to celebrate their new-found health?
A trip into the woods.
No fear, it was in the 60s, so there was a small chance that they would come down with another bout of sickness.

Savannah took me by surprise and ventured through the wilderness like a pro, going so far as to spelunking through a small tunnel that was dark, wet and muddy...
I. Hated. It.
I am not a nature-friendly girl. If you look closely at that photo of me cautiously walking over those narrow bridges, you can almost see me saying "What the f*&k am I doing? This is f&$ing crazy".
Madelyn went along for the ride as well. Didn't even flinch when I stepped on loose gravel and landed square on my butt.

I'm making my husband get a pedicure with me for that one.
This trip made me decide I am in need of some stylish, and PRACTICAL, hiking boots.
Here is my ideal hiking outfit.

I realize that this outfit isn't the most practical of hiking attire, but...at least I would look good.
