My Apologies...

I realize I've been distant. 

I haven't called. 

Or written.

No texts. 

No voicemails. 

And no new posts. 

In a week. 

WTF?

I haven't been myself. 

Allow me to explain. 

My younger daughter, Madelyn, was born with a serious heart defect that required surgery when she was only 2 weeks old. 

She has been doing well, however, this last week we had one of her checkups, and since I was blindsided when we first found out about her heart troubles, I always dread these appointments, and everything else in my life gets put towards the back burner until said appointment is done and over with. 

Needless to say, 

she is doing amazing. 

All that stress was for nothing. 

So now that my head is back in the game and I feel rejuvenated, 

I promise I will be back to my normal blogging spirit. 

Back in the good ol' South tomorrow.
